"Colette" was primarily painted from life during an open studio session at the Palette and Chisel.  I did spend another hour or two post session cleaning things up and am happy with the result.  Although these (almost) weekly portraits are available for purchase; they are done primarily to improve and retain portrait skills.  I find painting of any kind on a regular basis is the surest road to improvement.
