This piece was painted in mid-August, 2019 with the Plein Air Painters of Chicago (PAPC) at Chicago's splendid Botanical Gardens. The bridge pictured leads to the Japanese Gardens on the right. All but a few highlights were painted live. Unfortunately, just about noon rain moved in and chased me back to my studio where the painting was finished.
